Stand Construction (Part 2)

 


 

The apron pieces are prepared and glued to the underside of the frame. The apron sections are flared out at an angle, and are also concave shaped. Then blocks are fitted to the corners.

 
 
 


 

The legs are shaped at the top to match the corners of the frame.

 
 
 


 

The stand is nearly complete. The legs are held by wingnuts resessed in the stand frame for easy removal and alignment. Next a small border will define where the instrument will fit on the stand.
